Show Notes:
With a nuclear announcement (energy) no surprise that we hear calls for military action on Iran, but even a cursory look at the situation shows the folly of this. Maybe the neocons just want to double-down after being so wrong about Iraq. Meanwhile they gloat that Obama couldn't deliver the Olympics. Firstly, what was Obama doing promoting the Olympics for Chicago? What did they ever do to him to deserve that? Secondly the Olympic pitch had probably had little to do with Obama, these proposals take years and so most of the work was done under a different administration. In other words, what the Cons say is terrible is not and what they say is bad is not so watch out for the praise. Meanwhile we offer a mix of news, comment, praise, and critique and bundle it up. At least we are what we seem.
