No one said it would be pretty; and it sure isn't.  It's barely healthy, but finally America has some sort of health bill.  It is a huge giveaway to insurance companies, has no real public option (but there is still a slim chance on that) and won't even cover everyone.  But while Americans claim they don't like government programs, they in fact love them once they got 'em.  Healthcare, then, is probably here to stay in the U.S.A - we ask at what price and can the U.S. reach the promised land of universal coverage?  What we think we know is that this has big ramifications on the American political scene.
