I Read The News Today, Oh Boy!

Episode 33: A healthy comparison

| May 16, 2008

Show Notes:

It is all over but the shouting in the Democratic primaries, so we make a healthy comparison between health plans and wonder how myths about the Canadian system will have an impact on what happens in the U.S. With all the talk about "universal access" it can be easy to be lulled into an unhealthy belief that Americans are finally going to get covered. Not a good prognosis. Keith says Americans don't really believe in universal care, and Matt says well they believe in one thing at least, and it is green and fits in your pocket. Maybe for the love of coin people will get the cheaper single payer system. Of course we have news you might have missed with new fears about nitrogen, bluetooth and Microsoft Outlook. Well the last one has never been a healthy choice. Time for a lie down. Our theme song is "Carrot Juice is Murder" by the Arrogant Worms. Used with permission - thanks guys!
