On Saturday, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) hosted a one day symposium at the 519 Community Centre in Toronto to recruit queers to serve in the force.

Community organizers oppose the recruitment of new officers from within queer communities and gathered in the Cawthra Park, beside the 519, for a public demonstration.
