Lynn Thompson was introduced to Ron Korb in late 2007 by her brother Jamie Thompson * ~ they are both creative flute players in Toronto. Lynn and Ron recorded a conversation by phone at that time (see Episode # 83).**

When Lynn visited Toronto in April 2008, she and Ron met in person at the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum)*** where Ron is involved in the Crystal Piper tour through many of the museum galleries. After recording many aspects of the tour and comments by visitors, Ron suggested that upon returning from Florida in 10 days time, that Lynn could interview his friend and collaborative colleague, Jim McCarty, drummer of the Yardbirds, who would be in Toronto then.
