This Episode of Living on Purpose briefly profiles Gary Preston and Bill Johnson, in conversation with Lynn Thompson at the VIMF 2005 (Vancouver Island Music Festival in the Comox Valley, BC). At that point Gary had been playing harmonica and keyboard with the Bill Johnson Blues Band for many years, and now they both front their own bands, showing up at the Nanaimo Blues Festival which is happening on the weekend of August 15,16,17 and 23,24, with workshops going on for 5 days in between. FREE outdoor blues concerts, 4th year now, in downtown Nanaimo.
