Show Notes:
Jimmy Bowskill, who lives in Bailiboro, Ontario, began playing guitar at the age of 10. When he was 11 he busked outside Jeff Healey's club in Toronto, hoping to be invited to join Jeff on stage. His wish was granted, and his career launched that evening. Now at 16 he has just released his third CD, "Jimmy Bowskill" and is enthusiastically touring in British Columbia with his father Steve at the wheel, and bass player and drummer completing the musical trio. Lynn Thompson met up with them at the beach near Nanaimo and recorded a conversation with Jimmy the day after the start of the tour at the Queens Hotel on May 3rd, 2007. Glimpses of music from Jimmy's three CD's is included with permission from the artist.
