Why Canadians must oppose intervention in Syria

Ken Stone, treasurer of the Hamilton Coalition to Stop the War, explains the conflict occurring in Syria and the push for regime change by the West. The funding and arming of the mercenary groups fighting in Syria by the U.S., the threat the Syrian government has posed to the American Empire, and the role the Responsibility to Protect doctrine and "white man's burden" has played in drumming up support for war are discussed. U.S. hegemony, not human rights, is the priority.
