Announcement: Good news about rabble radio

We've had great response to the rabble radio pilot. Thanks everyone. We're pleased to announce that on August 15 rabble radio will go live and we'll be bringing you a fresh show every two weeks. Stay tuned for some of the features you told us you loved in the pilot, and listen for some fresh ideas we hope you'll like.

Two things. First, rabble radio is your show, we're just bringing it to you. We'd love your contributions (soundseeing tours, music etc.) If you scroll down this page, you'll see who to contact to get your content into rabble radio. Second, rabble radio is a volunteer effort. There are a half dozen of us working on it now. If you'd like to contribute some time to making it the best damned progressive left podcast on the planet please get in touch with lisa@rabble. You don't need to know how to podcast to help. There are lots of jobs to do.

Thanks for listening. See you in August!

Thank you for reading this story...

More people are reading rabble.ca than ever and unlike many news organizations, we have never put up a paywall – at rabble we’ve always believed in making our reporting and analysis free to all. But media isn’t free to produce. rabble’s total budget is likely less than what big corporate media spend on photocopying (we kid you not!) and we do not have any major foundation, sponsor or angel investor. Our only supporters are people and organizations -- like you. This is why we need your help.

If everyone who visits rabble and likes it chipped in a couple of dollars per month, our future would be much more secure and we could do much more: like the things our readers tell us they want to see more of: more staff reporters and more work to complete the upgrade of our website.

We’re asking if you could make a donation, right now, to set rabble on solid footing in 2017.
