19 environmentalists cycled 1300km from Waterton Park to the tar sands of Alberta talking to people along the way about how the tar sands boom has affected them.

Jodi Martinson made the film To The Tar Sands from the back of her bicycle. She calls her film a low-budget testament to the power of storytelling. She joins us to tell us about the trip and the film.
