Roma refugees face prejudice from ministry officials

| May 4, 2010

Show Notes:

Before Immigration Canada imposed a visa requirement on the Czech Republic, 85% of Roma refugee claims were accepted. Now that has gone down to almost zero. We speak with Bill Bila, president of the Roma Community Centre in Toronto.

Prior to this interview, we broadcast a documentary by Peter Driftmier on the growth of the far right in Hungary and what it means for the Roma. Listen to that documentary here.
