Windsor House was set up in the 1970s to meet the needs of students -- and their parents -- who were dissatisfied by the regular school system. Now budget cuts have led the Vancouver School Board to propose amalgamating five local alternative schools into one. We speak with Helen Hughes, founder of Windsor House Learning Community.
