If you earned one dollar every second it would take you about half a day to earn the median annual Canadian family income. In twelve days you would be a millionaire. It would take another 32 years before you became a billionaire. In their new book The Trouble with Billionaires, Linda McQuaig and Neil Brooks document the dramatic effects that the super rich have on our society. They spoke November 3rd at the Vancouver Public Library.

Part 2: Linda McQuaig is a journalist and author of several best selling books on politics and economics including Shooting the Hippo, It's the Crude, Dude, and Holding the Bully's Coat: Canada and the U.S. Empire.
