Redeye

Firsthand account of protests in Tahrir Square

| February 26, 2011

Show Notes:

Redeye speaks with Jase Tanner, a Canadian filmmaker who found himself in the midst of the Egyptian rebellion while on his way to Gaza with Code Pink. His hotel was just a hundred yards from Tahrir Square and he was able to spend a lot of time with the people camped out there. He talks about what he learned about Egypt, the rebellion and the regime from the protesters.
