Longtime housing activist John Shayler tells Redeye it's time for city councils of all political stripes to stop pursuing ever greater density at the expense of city residents. Shayler worked at the Downtown Eastside Residents Association and the Tenants' Rights Action Centre in the 1980s and 90s.
