Oil spill: Michigan

| February 1, 2011

Show Notes:

Redeye was at "When Oil Meets Water" to record 4 people talking about what it's like when an oil spill happens in your backyard.

The third speaker was Beth Wallace of the National Wildlife Federation in Battle Creek. She experienced firsthand what happened when a pipeline owned and operated by Enbridge leaked into the Kalamazoo River last summer. Her talk was accompanied by slides of oil-soaked river banks and fields.

"When Oil Meets Water" was organized by Forest Ethics and took place on January 20, 2011.
