CRTC calls Vancouver Cooperative Radio to 'show cause' hearing

| March 30, 2011

Show Notes:

Vancouver Cooperative Radio is being asked to appear before the CRTC in May to make the case why its licence should be renewed for another term. This is because the station committed infractions of the Radio Regulations during the last three licence terms.

We find out more from Program Coordinator Leela Chinniah. Chinniah explains why it's critically important for Coop Radio supporters to write to the CRTC in support of the station's licence renewal.

CKLN has been given a stay of its licence revocation as it attempts to reverse the decision in the courts. The station is still on the air.
