A poem by Robert Animikii Horton recorded at Rhizome Cafe on April 14. The occasion was the Vancouver book launch of Feminism for Real, an anthology edited by Jessica Yee. Beverley Jacobs is a Mohawk from the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory and immediate past president of the Native Women's Association of Canada. Her partner Pat is also from the Mohawk Nation, Turtle Clan. Pat reads the poem after Beverly Jacobs talks about what the book means to her.
