Over the past several months, there has been a wave of ongoing protests in Israel. They have focused on social reforms, namely the cost of living and the lack of affordable housing. The movement has been dubbed J14 after the date of the first protest, July 14, when eight Israelis began camping out in the center of Tel Aviv.
