Cline Mining sues B.C. government for $500 million

In 2010, the provincial government banned all mining and oil and gas development in the pristine Flathead Valley, which border national parks in Canada and the U.S. Last month Cline Mining filed notice in the Supreme Court of British Columbia claiming that its rights had been injuriously affected by the ban.
