Vancouver condo development threatens Musqueam burial site| June 13, 2012
cəsnaʔəm is a 4000-year-old Musqueam village site and burial ground at what is now the 1300 block of South West Marine Drive. It is at the centre of a fight between the City of Vancouver, the provincial government and a Vancouver developer. Cecelia Point is a Musqueam community spokesperson. She explains why the Musqueam First Nation took the step of blockading the Arthur Laing Bridge to the airport in May.
