Investing in our local economy

Michael Shuman is the author of a number of books, most recently Local Dollars, Local Sense. Michael Shuman says we our communities will be stronger and richer if we spend more at local businesses. He was keynote speaker at the Local Economy Summit Feb 13-14, 2013. The summit was organized by the Canadian Union of Public Employees of B.C. Michael Shuman is director of research for Cutting Edge Capital and a Fellow of the Post Carbon Institute.
