Show Notes:

B.C. government legislation to give logging companies more rights in the forests

A new bill in the B.C. legislature would make it easier for forest companies to create new tree farm licences and gain private property rights over the land they use. The effect would be devastating for future environmental protection of public lands. Joe Foy is National Campaign Director for the Wilderness Committee. He speaks with Redeye host Jane Williams.
