The first Canadian clinic to pay donors for their blood products opened its doors in Saskatoon last month. ExaPharma will give donors a $25 gift card each time they donate plasma. Tainted blood survivors and activists were in Ottawa last week demanding that federal Health Minister Jane Philpott close it down.
