Nearly 50 per cent of Canadians want Canadian troops out of Afghanistan. Yet that view is not represented in the media nor was it given voice in the parliamentary debate that took place in April. Even the NDP were unable to find a way to oppose the use of Canadian soldiers for an occupation that principally benefits American interests.
