Mordecai Briemberg went to a public meeting on the Middle East, saw a humorous parody of the local daily, picked up a few copies and handed them out.

Six months later he was served with a writ of summons that charged him with producing the parody and threatened to cost him tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees.
