Closing down Guantanamo Bay

Since 2001, the United States has imprisoned over 700 people at the Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp. Hundreds of people remain imprisoned without the benefit of any of the legal structures in place on the US mainland.

The National Lawyers Guild is calling on Barack Obama to release and repatriate prisoners there or send them for trial. We speak with Marjorie Cohn, president of the Guild.
