Crystal meth ravaging communities

| January 5, 2007

Podcast

Artist: Marion Robinson
Title: The Meth Project
Genre: Blues
Length: 0:08:55
Format: 44.1kHz, 128Kbps

Show Notes:

Marion Robinson went visiting families on a reserve near Chilliwack, B.C. to invite them to a naming ceremony. Almost no-one was able to accept the invitation - the families were in crisis because one or more family members were addicted to crystal meth. This prompted the Band Council to call a public meeting and go to Headlines Theatre in Vancouver for help. The result is a play that is touring communities all around B.C. >> get more info
