Meghna Haldar's first feature-length documentary explores the many aspects of dirt, both material and metaphorical.

She talks with a Catholic priest, her mother in India, a sanitation worker in a Kolkata slum, a sex worker amongst others to find out why we are both disgusted with and obsessed by dirt.

Her film premieres at the DOXA film festival in Vancouver on May 31.
