Ending the occupation of Iraq

| June 18, 2008

Show Notes:

Dahlia Wasfi's father is a Muslim from Iraq, her mother is a "nice Jewish girl from Brooklyn", whose grandparents fled the Nazi occupation of Austria. This background has given her a unique perspective on the invasion and occupation of Iraq.

She visited her father's family in Basra twice and talks about the deterioration of the situation there between the time of her two visits. She argues cogently for the end to an occupation that is hurting the people of Iraq. >> get more info
