First council meeting a defeat for Vancouver's new mayor

| December 18, 2005

Show Notes:

Sam Sullivan's first move as mayor of Vancouver was to suspend all of city council's citizen advisory committees until further notice. His proposal was defeated Thursday with only one member of his own NPA party voting with him. Justin Berger was on the bicycle advisory committee in 2004 and 2005. He attended the 16-hour meeting that voted to re-instate the committees and brings this report.
