Stephen Harper is bringing down his federal budget today, January 27. Much of the media focus will be on whether the Liberals and the NDP will vote against the budget and bring down the government.

But we should also be paying close attention to what's in the budget, according to David MacDonald of the Alternative Federal Budget. He gives us some key tests to judge the Conservative Party's financial plans for the country.
