The Inuit have been speaking up for the last decade about drastic changes to the Arctic ecosystems — and they have raising the alarm over global warming.

From Canada to Greenland to Russia to Alaska, global warming is beginning to alter and disrupt the climate and the ice formations that support the Inuit way of life.

Now the Inuit are saying that this is an issue affecting their human rights — that climate change threatens their rights to life, health, property and means of subsistence.
