Greenpeace and the Sierra Club participated in a process that led to the signing of an agreement to protect millions of hectares of the Great Bear Rainforest on the northern British Columbia coast. Other environmental groups are concerned that the terms of the agreement mean large mammals and salmon in the area will continue to be vulnerable to development pressures. Chris Genovali of the Raincoast Conservation Society has spent years working to get this area made into a park. He shares his concerns about the agreement.
