Meat and milk from cloned animals ruled safe

After years of debate, the US Food and Drug Administration ruled this month that food from cloned animals is safe.

This removes the last government hurdle before meat and milk derived from copies of prize dairy cows and pigs can be sold at grocery stores.

Jaydee Hanson is with the Center for Food Safety in Washington. He says the FDA needs to do more research before allowing food products from clones to be available to consumers. >> get more info
