Professor David Nutt took a look at the physical, psychological and social harms caused by a number of commonly used drugs and found that they didn't correlate closely the British classification system.

He explains how his team rated the drugs - from heroin and cocaine to cannabis and khat - and explains what he thinks a rational government response to the findings would be.
