Masks made fom running shoes, whale skeletons made from plastic lawn chairs - some of the pieces in Brian Jungen's new show at the Vancouver Art Galler. Jungen has an international reputation as one of Canada's most promising contemporary artists with an upcoming exhibition at the Tate Modern. Josh Brandon shares his impressions of the exhibition.

Eve and the Firehorse deals with the conflict that arises in a Chinese immigrant family when the daughters decide to convert to Catholicism. Julia Kwan's feature film is a semi-autobiographical tale set in Vancouver of the 1970's. Hear a review of the movie by Laura Lamb.
