Number of Iraqi deaths grossly underestimated

The Iraqi government says that 40,000 people have died as a result of the war and subsequent occupation. This gives Iraq the same violent death rate as Chicago. Dr. Les Roberts is one of the authors of the Iraq Body Count. His data suggests that the figure is likely closer to half a million.
