Last summer a group called the Palestine Media Collective produced a parody of the Vancouver Sun.

Six months later Mordecai Briemberg, a well-known activist for the rights of Palestinians, was charged with producing the parody and committing a commercial violation of trademark.

In July, the Georgia Straight published an article by Gordon Murray and Carel Moiseiwitsch, taking sole responsibility for the production of the parody.
