Five thousand children die each day due to unsanitary water. Ron Rivera's work on a simple, cheap and effective clay water filter made a real difference to the survival of uncounted numbers of rural people.

This fall, Ron Rivera contracted malaria while working in Nigeria. He died in Managua on September 8. We speak about Ron Rivera's work with friend and co-worker Burt Cohen.
