The Return of Mr. Keynes

| March 27, 2009

Show Notes:

The world is going through the worst financial crisis since the 1930s. After the Great Depression, the ideas of British economist John Maynard Keynes were credited with bringing about the recovery of the 1940s. Now Keynesian is experiencing a resurgence. Cy Gonick says Keynes didn't bring about the recovery then and governments shouldn't be looking at his theories to save the economy now. Gonick is editor of Canadian Dimension magazine.
