Wheat Board under threat

| September 13, 2006

Podcast

Artist: Wendy Holm
Title: Bill to amend Canadian Wheat Board Act
Genre: Blues
Length: 0:11:42
Format: 44.1kHz, 128Kbps

Show Notes:

If a private member's bill passes later this month, the Canadian Wheat Board will no longer be the single seller of grain to processors. This will benefit big grain companies and multinationals - and be another nail in the coffin of small farmers in Canada. Wendy Holm is a BC agrologist, economist and writer. She explains why we should all oppose this bill.
