Anyone who knows the music scene in Ottawa knows Alan Neal. For 3 years, he was the host of CBC's Bandwidth, and he is now the host of All In A Day, CBC's afternoon drive-time show. The man is a huge music fan, and is really one hell of a nice guy.

I invited Alan to join me at the Manx pub on Elgin Street to talk about the current Ottawa music scene. We had so many favourites, we had to record two Ruckus episodes together (and we could have done a lot more). So, here is the first part of my beer-and-chat with Alan Neal.
