Charles C. Smith is the author of the recently published book “Conflict, Crisis and Accountability: Racial Profiling and Law Enforcement in Canada”.
Charles C. Smith is a consultant to the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, and a Lecturer at the University of Toronto. He has authored numerous papers on racial profiling, equality and diversity and is also a published playwright, essayist and poet.
This talk was recorded at a forum, Confronting Racial Profiling: Racism, Policing and Community Responses, organized by the Canadian Centre For Policy Alternatives in Burnaby, BC on Feb 21, 2008. He starts his talk by playing a short piece of jazz music.
