After trying for years to have a have a baby, young woman in Ermelo, South Africa considered it nothing short of a miracle when she gave birth to a son on August 3, 1964.
She aptly called the son Lucky. The baby, Lucky Dube, grew to be an international superstar and one of the strongest moral voices of apartheid South Africa. Lucky Dube was one of the most prolific, acclaimed singers. The dreadlocked singer was killed in a carjacking in Johannesburg, South Africa.
He will be remembered for his commitment to justice, his unshakeable faith of the power if individual to change the world
