Ellie speaks with Itrath Syed, the instructor for the course entitled Contemporary Debates in Muslim Women's Feminisms at Simon Fraser University and Farzana Doctor, a Toronto based social worker and author of Stealing Nasreen, a fictional story that deals with South Asian/immigrant/queer Muslim issues. Topics range from perceptions of Muslim women to the relationship of feminism in the Western discourse on Islam.
