It's Season 2 at IRTN and Keith reveals where he has been all these weeks. Hint: he has left the bleeding heart to find the "heart of it all." Then on to "Below the Fold - news you may have missed" which finds us baffled at Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney's treatment of his dog (no we're not kidding), and other brain rattling revelations. Then pardon me? Pardon You! Or, more accurately commute you - if your name is Libby and you betrayed the identity of a secret agent of the U.S government and were convicted as a felon. It plays in Bush land. Then we ask "just what the hell branch of government does Dick Cheney think he works for?" None it seems. First he claims executive privilege, then he's not part of the executive despite 218 years of evidence to the contrary and now Dick and Bush use the democrats subpoenas as toilet paper. We say they run out the clock with legal moves and sadly we won't get to see the Cheney perp walk (and that really hurts because we were just denied the Libby perp walk). We discuss the media and public reaction to the Aboriginal Day of Action in Canada which was June 29th. The media liked the smoke. . . Chief Terry Nelson of Roseau River First Nation, Manitoba said "There are only two ways of dealing with the white man. Either you pick up a gun, or you stand between the white man and his money." Sadly that sounds about right when it comes to Aboriginal issues. And we finish with a special plug for the rabble re-launch campaign, hear what Noam Chomsky has to say about rabble (spoiler: he likes it!)
