An e-mail letter of guest invitation to Dr. Laura Schlessinger from Lynn Thompson of "Living on Purpose" was met with a call back from Dr. Laura's screener, Kimberly, asking Lynn what she would like to talk to Dr. Laura about. Evidently Lynn had the right answers and was granted a phone interview with Dr. Laura in September 2006. At that point Dr. Laura was about to begin touring with her (now famous) one-woman show, in which she appears on the stage with no script only wit and wisdom, and goes on to wow the crowd.
At the end of the interview, Dr. Laura offered Lynn a letter of reference. It was forthcoming shortly afterwards and read: "Your questions were interesting and probing, your style warm and engaging. You are living proof that you don't need to go for the jugular to find the pulse."
On her site www.drlaura.com [5] you will read news of recent appearances, as well as her upcoming Dr. Laura cruise on the west coast of the continent later in 2008.
Dr. Laura is a strong advocate for families and the welfare of children. She is also supportive of war veterans' families in the US.
