A year ago, right around Valentine's Day in 2007, Lynn Thompson had guests in the studio at CHLY to talk about local events in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island for "The Day of Toning" ~ Elly Parker, Lora Teuschler and Daeva N. Guest. Spontaneously Jonathon Goldman was able to be in on the conversation via phone from Colorado. The whole idea is for people around the world to tone at noon in their own time zones for at least 5 minutes ~ with many groups gathering to tone for hours in waves and shifts of sound. Roger Nelson, director of the Global Consciousness Project is mentioned, as they measure the effect.
To send the world a Sonic Valentine! 2008 is the 6th anniversary of this global event.
The Sound Healers Association was founded on Valentine’s Day in 1982.
