This week we visit the B.C. Mental Health & Addictions Research Network Colloquium in Vancouver and talk to coordinator Tenny Bache. At the venue was a Hope in Shadows table where we talk to Joe Mangatal and Russ Zilman about what they believe is unbalanced reporting on Joe's life story in the Globe and Mail in their series "Our Nation's Slum". Finally Paul Ryan talks to Wendy Pedersen from the Carnegie Community Action Project about feedback she has had since the mainstream media launched their campaign about the Downtown Eastside.
